This Pascal Agrapart "Vénus" Champagne is a prestigious, single-vineyard cuvée, a Blanc de Blancs (Chardonnay) from the 2019 vintage, sourced from an unpruned plot. Produced in Avize, a Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs, this cuvée was bottled in May 2020 and disgorged in June 2025. Venus is offered as a Brut Nature and symbolizes the winemaker's pure and respectful approach, aiming for a "Wine without limits," where the roots run "Deeper the roots, Freer the flight..." It is the purest and most mineral expression of Avize Chardonnay.

Tasting profile

A Blanc de Blancs of extreme finesse and purity. The nose, intensely mineral, evokes damp chalk, candied lemon, and light honey. The palate is incredibly taut, with a chalky and saline texture that lingers beautifully. It is a crystalline, precise wine of great depth.
