Arthur Lelièvre offers here a precise and assertive vintage: Prémices , a blended wine reflecting the Champagne tradition , born on the northern slopes of Ludes , classified as Premier Cru .
The blend combines 35% Pinot Meunier , 47% Pinot Noir and 18% Chardonnay , from a chalky terroir facing north on the Montagne de Reims . The vinification is natural and minimally interventionist , in oak barrels . Disgorging carried out on July 8, 2024 , without added sugar, in Extra Brut .
A confidential edition: only 4,300 bottles produced . Inspired by Victor Hugo's quote engraved on the label: "The wisest in this immense world is the drunkest."
