Bérêche et Fils - Campania Remensis 2021
Bérêche et Fils - Campania Remensis 2021
This 2021 Campania Remensis Extra-Brut Champagne is a single-vineyard Blanc de Noirs from the Bérêche & Fils estate in Ludes. It comes from the "Ormes" lieu-dit (Campania Remensis, on the Montagne de Reims) and the 2021 vintage. The house applies its traditional methods of excellence: working the soil, using old vines, slow fermentation in oak barrels, aging on the lees, unfiltered wine, secondary fermentation under cork, and manual disgorging. The dosage is very low ( $3 g/L ), highlighting the pure expression of the terroir. Only 5,356 bottles of this cuvée were produced.

Tasting profile
Tasting profile
This terroir-driven wine, with low dosage and aged in oak, will be remarkably vinous. It will offer notes of white-fleshed fruit, subtle aromas of sweet spices and brioche, with a very fine tannic structure and a chalky, saline finish characteristic of the Montagne de Reims. The Extra Brut designation makes it a wine of great purity.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
