Les Boucauds – The purity of Sauvignon on marl-limestone
The Les Boucauds cuvée from Domaine Claude Riffault is a Sancerre Blanc lieu-dit Les Boucauds, located at 245 meters altitude , facing South-East on Kimmeridgian marl-limestone soil.
This wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown using organic and biodynamic methods , hand-harvested and then aged for 12 months . It is bottled by Stéphane Riffault , a winemaker in Sury-en-Vaux , with respect for the terroir and the environment.
