Dhondt-Grellet – Les Nogers

Description

The "Les Nogers" cuvée takes us to the Premier Cru terroir of Cuis, where Adrien Dhondt cultivates a plot of old Chardonnay vines planted in 1974. Facing northeast on particularly chalky soil, this vineyard benefits from demanding, traditional viticulture, including manual tilling of the soil. Vinified in barrels and aged for eight months on its lees without filtration, this Blanc de Blancs expresses remarkable tension and saline purity, characteristic of great Chardonnays born on chalky soils.
