Hélène Charbaut - The Miller's Wife 2022

Description

This "La Meunière" Champagne is a rare Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs, made exclusively from Meunier grapes grown in the Bisseuil terroir. This single-vineyard cuvée comes from a plot called "Le Chaudron", planted in 1999, which benefits from a south-west exposure on clay-limestone soil. True to the house style, this wine was entirely vinified and aged in oak barrels. Presented as "Zero Dosage", it offers a pure, rich and unadorned interpretation of this emblematic grape variety.
