This Champagne, "La Colline Inspirée" (The Inspired Hill), is an Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs from Maison Jacques Lassaigne , located in Montgueux. The poetic name of this cuvée is a direct tribute to the Montgueux terroir itself, often nicknamed the "inspired hill" for its exposure and its unique chalky profile in the Aube region. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes , this wine is vinified in the spirit of purity and tension so dear to the estate. The Extra Brut dosage preserves the balance and natural richness of the fruit. The winemaker recommends opening the bottle ten minutes before serving to allow the aromas to fully develop.
