The Pinot Noir Empreintes 2023 vintage is a red wine from the Alsace Controlled Appellation , produced by Justin Boxler , artisan winemaker in Niedermorschwihr , representing the 11th generation of family winemakers.

This wine reflects the expression of several granitic terroirs located between Niedermorschwihr and Katzenthal , where Pinot Noir plots have been gradually planted since the 1970s. After hand-harvesting , the grapes ferment naturally with indigenous yeasts during maceration. Aging continues on the lees in century-old foudres and Burgundy barrels .
