The Brut Nature cuvée from Champagne Legrand-Latour is an expression of the terroir formed during the Eocene period (-56Ma to -34Ma), combining landslides and scree concentrated at the bottom of the hillside.
Coming from the terroirs of Verneuil and Vandières , the wine combines 50% Chardonnay with 50% Meunier , harvested in 2020. It is vinified for 12 months in barrels on lees , with a draw in September 2021. Disgorging is dated February 2025 , with a Brut Nature dosage of 0 g/L .
The estate's philosophy is clear: "This wine has been cultivated and aged with the greatest respect for life. After several years of rest, let it catch its breath by opening the bottle a little while in advance."
