This Grand Cru Champagne is a pure expression of Chardonnay (Blanc de Blancs) from the "Le Chemin de Flavigny" plot in Oger , one of the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. Crafted by Stéphane Regnault , this cuvée, "Mode Lydien N°80," is made from the 2018 harvest, complemented by 35% perpetual reserve wines. Vinification is natural (spontaneous fermentation) with 65% aging in oak barrels, and malolactic fermentation is complete. With a very low dosage of 1 gram per liter , it is classified as Extra Brut Champagne and was disgorged in September 2023 .
