This 2021 "Vignes de Pierry" Premier Cru Extra Brut Champagne is a single-vineyard cuvée from the winemaker and farmer Tellier, sourced from the Premier Cru village of Pierry (specifically the vineyards of "Les Rocherets" and "Corrigot"). It is a blend dominated by Chardonnay (70%), complemented by Pinot Meunier (30%), from mature vines (30 to 55 years old) grown on a terroir rich in flint and chalky subsoil. Its vinification and aging in oak barrels for eight months, without fining or harsh filtration, impart a beautiful aromatic complexity. The low dosage (4 g/L) accentuates the purity and minerality of this Premier Cru.
