This 2013 Brut Nature "Le Village" Champagne is a single-varietal, single-vineyard Blanc de Blancs crafted by Thomas Perseval in Chamery. It comes exclusively from the Premier Cru "Le Village" vineyard in Chamery, planted entirely with Chardonnay. This grower's wine is remarkably pure with zero dosage. It is from the 2013 vintage and has benefited from extended aging on lees for over $9$ years (bottled in August 2014, disgorged in February 2024). The wine is certified organic (AB) by Ecocert.

The extended aging process imparts complex notes of roasting, honey, and dried fruit to this 2013 Chardonnay. The Brut Nature guarantees a precise, very dry palate and an intense chalky minerality, typical of the Chamery terroir, even though it is dominated by Pinot Noir. A pure and complex gastronomic wine.
