Timothée Stroebel - Coteaux Champenois 2020 - Pinot Meunier
Published on October 27, 2025
This 2020 Coteaux Champenois Blanc "Les Cumines" is a still, non-sparkling wine produced by EARL Stroebel (Timothée Stroebel) in Villers-Allerand, a Premier Cru vineyard in the Montagne de Reims. It is remarkable for its single grape variety, Pinot Meunier , which is rarely used in still white wines within the appellation. From the "Les Cumines" vineyard site, it is the product of traditional farming practices and a non-interventionist winemaking approach. This wine reflects the winemaker's conviction that his Champagne lands can also produce great dry wines, as evidenced by its limited production of 2,645 bottles , bottled in August 2022.

Tasting profile
Tasting profile
A surprising white wine for Champagne, with a beautiful aromatic richness typical of Pinot Meunier (subtle red fruits, plum, sweet spices). The palate is round and supple, with a slightly vinous structure and a lovely fresh finish. It is a wine of character that expresses complexity and lusciousness.

It will perfectly complement poultry with autumnal flavors (porcini mushrooms, morels), rich risottos, or dishes based on smoked fish or mild spices.
