The 2020 Le Belai Extra Brut cuvée from Champagne Arthur Lelièvre comes from a single eponymous plot located in Ludes , a Premier Cru village on the Montagne de Reims . This 100% Chardonnay reflects both the finesse of the chalky terroir and the estate's artisanal approach.
The vinification is natural and minimally interventionist , carried out in oak barrels . Disgorging took place on July 8, 2024 , without the addition of sugar ( Extra Brut ). This confidential cuvée was produced in only 1,000 bottles .
