Arthur Lelièvre 's Le Walin Extra Brut 2020 cuvée comes from the eponymous plot located in Lagery , in the heart of the Ardre Valley . This 100% Pinot Noir reflects a fine reading of a unique terroir, with a natural and minimalist approach to vinification.
The wine is aged in barrels without filtration or fining, then disgorged on July 8, 2024. The cuvée is Extra Brut , reflecting a taut and unadorned style. The label includes a quote from Victor Hugo: "Tomorrow, at dawn, at the hour when the countryside turns white." , emphasizing the poetic and contemplative character of this local wine.
Produced in Ludes by SCEV Forget-Chauvet – RM-25637-02 , this edition is limited to 1,000 bottles .
