The 2019 Les Mussettes Extra Brut cuvée from Champagne Girard-Bonnet is a Grand Cru single-plot expression of the Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir, produced from a mass selection planted in 1971 .
Facing east, this plot lies on a clay-limestone soil composed of colluvium , with a subsoil of Campanian chalk . The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay , vinified with indigenous yeasts in barrels and stainless steel vats .
Disgorging is dated October 15, 2024 , with an Extra Brut dosage of 1 g/L . The cultivation is carried out with respect for living things, with biodynamic preparations , plants and eco-grazing .
