A rare, powerful and freely expressed Grand Cru
Made from old vines planted in 1954 on the chalky hillsides of Cramant , this Vintage 2018 Extra Brut Champagne, by Les Frères Mignon , reflects the work of an artisan where nothing is left to chance.
The Chardonnay mass selection is harvested on a plot facing due east , then vinified without fining, without filtration, with a passage to natural cold . The wine is bottled on July 31, 2019 , then aged 64 months on slats before being disgorged on November 6, 2024 .
The dosage is minimal (1.6 g/L) , to preserve the mineral expression of the terroir. The Champagne is produced by SCEV Mignon Gentil – RM-29223-01 in Cramant, in accordance with an artisanal philosophy.
