The Le Montgruguet Extra Brut cuvée from Champagne R. Pouillon & Fils is a Premier Cru expression of the Mareuil-sur-Aÿ terroir, 2020 vintage.
Coming from an exceptional viewpoint over the 3 Champagne vineyards , this landscape wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir on lower Campanian soil, a unique outcrop of outcropping chalk
The fermentation is carried out with sugar and yeast from the grapes , according to the Fabrice Pouillon method . Disgorging is dated the 1st quarter of 2024 , with an Extra Brut dosage of 1 g/L .
