The Solera Extra Brut cuvée from Champagne R. Pouillon & Fils is a Premier Cru expression of the Mareuil-sur-Aÿ terroir, produced according to a generational blending principle.
This “ anti-vintage ” wine is composed of 23 successive vintages , ranging from 1997 to 2019 , and reflects a timeless vision of the terroir . It combines equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay .
Disgorging is planned for the 2nd quarter of 2024 , with an Extra Brut dosage of 3 g/L . This champagne can be decanted or opened 30 minutes in advance , and has cellar aging potential.
