A free and mineral Grand Cru, reflecting a living vineyard
Champagne Chromatique by Stéphane Regnault is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru made from a subtle blend of different family plots, cultivated with respect for life. It features the chalky hillsides of Mesnil-sur-Oger and the richer soils of Oger , for an expressive and balanced cuvée.
The vineyard is managed without chemical inputs and has been converted to organic farming since 2017. The vinification is completely natural: spontaneous fermentation, no additions or intervention. Part of the wine is aged 30% in wood , 43% in stainless steel and 25% in reserve . Malolactic fermentation is complete, which offers a welcome complexity.
Confidential vintage, with only 6,800 bottles bottled in July 2021 and disgorged in June 2024. Minimum dosage of 2 g/L , for maximum purity.
