This Grand Cru Brut Nature Champagne is a non-vintage blend produced by SCEV Benoît Lahaye et Fils in Bouzy. It is partly composed of perpetual reserve wines . The blend is predominantly made up of approximately 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay , sourced from the Grand Cru vineyards of Bouzy and Ambonnay . It has been aged on its lees in oak barrels . Sold without dosage (Brut Nature) , it offers a pure and mineral expression of the terroir. The estate is certified organic (FR-BIO-01) and practices biodynamic viticulture (BIODYVIN) . Disgorgement took place in January 2025.

Tasting profile

A pure, taut, and precise champagne. The nose is delicate, with crisp red fruit aromas (strawberry, redcurrant) typical of Bouzy Pinot Noir, along with mineral and lightly toasty notes from barrel aging. The palate is saline, lively, and energetic, offering a beautiful persistence without the heaviness of sweetness.

Serving temperature: Serve between 8°C and 10°C

Food and wine pairings

Excellent as an aperitif, it will pair perfectly with sushi, scallop ceviche, or a light starter based on asparagus or artichokes.
