This 2020 Vintage Brut Nature Champagne is a single-vineyard cuvée, "Violaine," produced by SCEV Benoît Lahaye et Fils in Bouzy. It is a balanced blend of 50% Chardonnay from the Les Argentières plot (Tauxières) and 50% Pinot Noir from the neighboring Les Monts des Tours plot (Bouzy) .

This wine is remarkable for its vinification without the addition of SO2 (sulfur dioxide) . Aged on its lees in barrels, it was disgorged in September 2025 and released without dosage (Brut Nature) . The estate is certified organic (FR-BIO-01) and practices biodynamic viticulture (BIODYVIN) .

Tasting profile

A champagne of character and great candor. The nose develops floral and yellow fruit aromas (mirabelle plum), with a toasty and buttery touch from aging. The palate is remarkably precise, very mineral, balanced by an enveloping texture and a mouthwatering finish.
